Eddie studied Natural Sciences at the University of Cambridge, specialising in organic and biological chemistry. Prior to specialising in chemistry, Eddie also studied materials science and physics options.
Eddie joined Keltie in 2023 following nearly four years training at a boutique intellectual property firm on the South Coast. She has experience working with a wide range of clients, from local inventors filing their first patent application to large pharmaceutical companies expanding their portfolios overseas.
Eddie qualified as a UK and European Patent Attorney in 2023 and is an Associate in the Life Sciences and Chemistry team at Keltie.

G 1/24 EPO: Setting the Stage for a Landmark DecisionOral proceedings before the Enlarged Board of Appeal (EBoA) of the European Patent Office (EPO) in the case G 1/24, have now been scheduled for 28 March 2025. G 1/24 is poised to potentially become a landmark case in European patent law, with the EBoA due to make a decision as to the extent to which the description and figures may be used for claim interpretation when assessing patentability.
