Aisling joined Keltie in 2018. Aisling is a member of the Trade Marks Team based in our Dublin Office. Aisling assists both the Irish and UK Trade Mark Attorneys in managing an extensive range of Irish, UK, European and International Trade Mark and Design portfolios. Aisling has wide-ranging experience in both the pre-registration and post-registration stages of the Trade Mark lifecycle, having previously worked in both the Trade Mark Records and Renewals teams.
Having obtained a Bachelor of Commerce from University College Dublin in 2010 and a Master of Arts in International Tourism from University of Limerick, Ireland in 2012, Aisling moved into the Intellectual Property Law industry in Dublin in February 2017. She previously worked in the airline, digital marketing and tourism industries.
Aisling joined Keltie in 2018.

Is the SKY the limit?In a highly anticipated judgment, the Supreme Court (“SC”) has issued its decision to SkyKick’s appeal against the Court of Appeal (“CoA”), finding that the CoA was wrong to overturn the High Court’s (“HC”) decision that Sky’s trade marks were registered in bad faith.

Nice Classification Changes from January 2026The Nice Classification, established in 1957 and managed by the World Intellectual Property Organisation (WIPO), divides goods and services for trade mark specifications into 45 classes. It is an essential tool and is periodically updated to reflect changes in the marketplace and technological advancements. A new edition is coming into effect in January 2026, bringing several important changes that trade mark owners and businesses should be aware of.
