Leyla is a Patent Formalities Assistant who joined Keltie in 2022 and is part of our Patent Services Team. She provides support to that team, where she currently works on filings, setting up new cases, and scanning and saving post.
Leyla previously worked as a Retail Assistant in the Natural History Museum in South Kensington. Here Leyla was very quickly given both management and administrative responsibilities; her working days consisted of opening and closing satellite stores in a solo capacity, cashing up tills, triggering Z-reads, processing refunds, and undertaking important stock counts.
When she is not in the office, Leyla can be found playing Super Mario Kart on her SNES in preparation for the annual Super Mario Kart World Championships. She has been featured in the Guinness Book of World Records from 2013 to 2016 and has ten years’ experience of co-organising beginner-level tournaments at UK-wide retro gaming expos.
