Jesús Enrique (JE) supports the firm’s fee earners with case management and professional work. His responsibilities include the filing and management of UK, EU, and international trade mark applications through to registration, assessing incoming and outgoing communications for critical deadlines, and liaising with official trade mark offices and foreign associates on trade mark issues. He also manages attorney deadlines and ensures smooth progression of cases across jurisdictions.
JE specialises in trade mark prosecution, maintenance, and enforcement. With over nine years of experience in top-tier law firms, he has a proven track record of managing global trade mark portfolios, coordinating directly with clients, and achieving favourable outcomes in trade mark matters.
Qualified in Venezuela, Chile, and the UK, Jesús Enrique holds a BA in International Studies, a Postgraduate Diploma in Cybersecurity Law, and the CITMA Paralegal Certificate, which he obtained in June 2023.
An active member of the intellectual property community, he serves within the International Trademark Association (INTA) as a member of the Leadership Development Committee, having previously contributed to the Trade Mark Administrators Committee and the Young Professionals Advisory Group. He is also a member of the CITMA Paralegal Training Working Group, reflecting his dedication to supporting and developing the role of trade mark paralegals in the UK.
In addition, he is a member of the ASIPI (Inter-American Association of Intellectual Property), where he serves on the DICE Committee and the Anti-Counterfeiting Committee for the 2026-2027 term.
JE joined Keltie in December 2022, after more than five years as a paralegal at a leading law firm in Chile.
