Manuela's substantial trade mark practice ranges from clearance searches and prosecution, to due diligence searches, contentious matters, negotiations and co-existence agreements. She handles a number of worldwide trade mark portfolios being responsible for their overall trade mark strategy. Manuela has also been involved in trade mark proceedings before the High Court and the Court of First Instance of the European Communities. Her client base and experience cover a broad range of industries: sport, entertainment, hospitality, fashion, design, technology, food and beverages, building and construction and gas and oil. Manuela strives to give her advice a commercial spin that will enable clients to make informed decisions.
Whilst Manuela's workload concentrates primarily on trade marks, she is also experienced in domain name, copyright and design matters.
Manuela is a regular commentator in ITMA Review, the newsletter of the Institute of Trade Mark Attorneys.

Manuela graduated with a BA Law degree from the Catholic University of Milan (Italy) with a thesis in European Competition Law and Political Economics after achieving a Baccalaureate in Classic Literary Studies at Liceo Cantonale Lugano in Switzerland.
After her degree, Manuela attended a post-graduate course in International contracts at SUPSI (Lugano, Switzerland) and worked in the Swiss financial industry for some time. She subsequently gained a year's experience in the corporate and commercial litigation departments of two London city law firms and joined Keltie in 2000. Manuela qualified in 2005, becoming a Registered Trade Mark Attorney, European Trade Mark Attorney and Member of the Institute of Trade Mark Attorneys.
