Since joining Keltie, Jo has acted on behalf of clients over a broad range of industries including finance, insurance, entertainment, leisure and tourism and food and drink.
Jo’s work regularly involves conducting clearance searches, advising on filing strategies and the prosecution of UK, Community and International trade mark applications through to registration, including handling opposition proceedings and appearing for clients at ex parte hearings. She also provides infringement advice and has assisted on revocation and invalidity actions.
In addition to trade marks, Jo is experienced in advising on copyright, design and domain name issues and has represented clients in Nominet dispute resolution proceedings.

Career history
Jo joined Keltie in 2004 and qualified as a UK and European Trade Mark Attorney in 2008.
She graduated from Southampton University in 2003 with an honours degree in Law. As part of her degree she studied intellectual property law, including the study of law relating to copyright, designs, trade marks, patents and confidential information.
In 2004, Jo achieved a commendation in the Legal Practice Course from the College of Law in London where she continued her study of intellectual property by taking an option in commercial law.
