Since Dev joined Keltie he has developed a thriving practice specialising in providing strategic advice and support for emerging and established companies particularly in the fields of genomics, epigenetics, medical devices, food science and processing, functional foods, bioactive cosmetics, protein biochemistry, molecular diagnostics and stem cells.
He has also advised investment groups with interests in the UK and European bioscience and healthcare sectors.

Dev joined Keltie in 2004, having previously spent five years with another firm of London patent and trade mark attorneys where he qualified as a Chartered Patent Attorney and European Patent Attorney in 2002. He leads the bioscience team at Keltie.
After graduating from University College London with an honours degree in biochemistry in 1994, Dev undertook a PhD at the Wellcome/CRUK Gurdon Institute of Cancer and Developmental Biology, a specialist institute of the University of Cambridge.
Dev is a member of the Biotechnology Committee of the Chartered Institute of Patent Attorneys and has published and presented in the field of biotechnology intellectual property law.
He became a partner in May 2009.
