Graduate Positions - Trainee Patent Attorneys

We need a number of dynamic and talented individuals to join our thriving patent practice. Successful candidates will have a good academic background in science and technology and will be able to demonstrate a natural aptitude for how technology works. Other key qualities include excellent written and oral communication skills, attention to detail and an entrepreneurial drive. Candidates should be comfortable with the responsibility of interacting with clients directly as well as being confident enough to foster new business relationships.

IT Assistant

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our IT team for a fixed-term contract to cover sabbatical leave commencing September 2013.

Reporting to the IT Manager, the successful candidate’s primary duties will involve supporting, monitoring and maintaining all IT hardware and software across the firm. In addition, there will be opportunities to contribute to the on-going development and strengthening of the firm’s various systems.

Applicants must have previous experience within an IT role, having excellent general comprehension and knowledge of IT systems and networks. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft server administration, Exchange, Active Directory and Windows is desirable. Previous experience with SQL database systems (Inprotech, Worksite) would be advantageous.

The ideal candidate should have strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, a keen eye for detail, and be reliable, enthusiastic and able to communicate clearly with others.
